Simon Holley has 35 years’ experience in the UK Commercial Property market and unparalleled access to off-market deal flow.
He graduated from Reading University in 1979 and joined DTZ where he became Partner, before moving to Brian Cooper and Company as Equity Partner.
He later co-founded Gatehouse Investment Management Ltd, was Senior Partner at Holley Blake, and became Chairman of Agency & Development at CBRE after the corporate acquisition of Holley Blake in 2006. Simon was Founding Principal of Altyon Partners LLP and has teamed up with some of the largest players and corporates in the UK over the years.
David has been Managing Director of Nurton Developments since 1996. David works closely with the team at Nurton and Equation Properties to oversee the strategic long-term direction of both businesses and general management of their portfolios.
Richard started his career in property at Hartnell Taylor Cook. He later progressed client-side with roles at Wyncote Group Plc, Quoin Estates and worked for 12 years as Principal at Albourne Property PLC. More recently, Richard was a Senior Development Director at Kier Property, where he spent four years working on a variety of industrial, office, retail and mixed-use projects.
He joined Equation Properties in January 2020 and his responsibilities include the identification and delivery of new business opportunities, and management of ongoing schemes.
Dick has 35 years of experience in the industrial and logistics sector. He joined Wilson Bowden Properties in 1986 where we became Surveying and Estimating Director. He started at Kingspark in 1995 (later acquired by Prologis) and joined Rosemound as Construction Director and shareholder in 2001, where he was promoted to UK Construction Director following the corporate acquisition by Goodman. He later became a shareholder of Lynton Developments and Construction Director at Graftongate.
Dick has worked with all the major logistics providers across the country. In his role at Equation Properties, he will support the ever-growing development pipeline in both pre- and post-contract delivery.
Richard is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and has been working in the construction industry for 39 years. He started his career at Kyle Stewart Construction (now BAM Construction) as Trainee Quantity Surveyor. After working for Midland Oak Construction, Wilcon Construction and Stewart Construction, Richard set up his own QS/PM practice, Goodrich Consulting LLP, in 1992, and sold the business to two Partners in April 2017.
Richard worked as a Consultant to Goodrich until December 2018 and joined Equation Properties as Construction Consultant in January 2019. Richard has extensive experience in the industrial and logistics sectors and has in-depth knowledge of Design & Build.
Paul is a chartered accountant and attained a senior managerial position in a top 20 firm before joining Nurton Developments in 2006 as Finance Director, later becoming CEO in 2021. He has a deep understanding of the real estate market and is now responsible for co-ordinating all activities across the wider group, tightly managing all of its structural elements and transactions. This includes overseeing several recent complex deals including a corporate acquisition and property disposals and setting up and managing joint venture activity.
His strong commercial bias ensures all projects are continually evaluated to ensure they are delivering to expectations.
Martin has over 35 years of experience in the construction industry, starting in Civil & Structural design and progressing into Project Management.
He initially worked for Client-side project management companies in Birmingham, gaining an MSc in Construction Project Management before joining Rosemound in 2006, which was subsequently purchased by Goodman in 2007.
Prior to joining Equation Properties, Martin spent 12 years delivering infrastructure and industrial warehouse schemes at Goodman, then joined St Francis Group as Construction Director in 2019. Martin joined Equation Properties in October 2021 with the intention to utilise his wealth of construction knowledge in the industrial logistics to aid Equation Properties to deliver its ever-growing development pipeline.
Charlie graduated from the University of Exeter with a degree in Business and Marketing in July 2018. While at university, he was responsible for all digital marketing activities for residential property developer Langham Homes. After graduating, Charlie gained additional experience in the property marketing sector with creative agency J2.
Charlie joined Equation Properties in November 2018 and utilises his experience to direct all marketing activities on the company’s schemes and corporate marketing. Charlie is also responsible for the financial analysis of Equation Properties development portfolio, conducting the feasibility and profitability of potential and ongoing projects.
Nick graduated from Northumbria University in 2018 with a first class honours degree in Real Estate. Nick then joined CBRE in September 2018 as part of the Asset Services department and gained experience in property and asset management.
In September 2020, Nick joined Ocado Group PLC as a Project Manager. His main focus was leading on acquisitions of new sites, primarily targeting smaller urban locations around London and key regions. He also managed the Ocado portfolio through lease events and looked at strategic network planning.
Joanna has 30 years working in the industrial property sector. She started her career working for Brian Cooper and Company prior to becoming Office Manager for Holley Blake. Joanna worked with Simon Holley at CBRE, Altyon LLP and more recently Equation Properties Limited. She deals with the day-to-day management of Equation Properties including accounts, finances, diary management and client liaison.
